The major benefit of Tor is to protect your identity / location when surfing online. It stops the site being used in both identifying the user and locating the traffic which it is receiving. This is done by using the Tor browser to protect your identity and the Tor network to route the traffic between different systems.

At PrivateRelay we do not log usage, nor location data to track our clients. As such the use of Tor to use our services is redundant. However if you prefer to use Tor then this will not affect your connection to our systems.
